  • Our solution is aimed at restaurants and other businesses who make regular deliveries to their customers. Some examples of our customers are:

    • Fast food restaurants

    • Liquor stores

    • Caterers

    • Florists

  • We partner with online ordering platforms to provide the delivery drivers needed to fulfill your orders, without high commissions or hidden fees. Inhousedelivery.com will dispatch a driver after an order is placed on any of these platforms, and manage the deliveries from order receipt to order delivery. No manual intervention required.

We also cover more than the technical issue of supplying a driver - we’re a true strategic partner giving you the tools and the tech to move your customers off third-party platforms and onto your website.

  • Our smart dispatch solution considers a number of factors when determining the best driver to route the order to, including:

    • How many deliveries each driver currently has

    • The current location of each driver

    • The expected completion time and location of the current order/s assigned to a driver, using live traffic data

This information is weighted and scored to determine the 'best' driver.

  • If both self-delivery and third-party delivery are enabled, in-house drivers are always prioritized unless the delivery falls outside the maximum delivery radius for self-delivery.

If no in-house drivers are available only then will the order be dispatched to a third party provider.

  • We can get you up and running within a day - you could be seeing your revenue increase by the evening rush!

Third-party delivery

  • We leverage the same delivery drivers as the big guys plus hundreds of “last mile” delivery companies across the country. You’re also able to supply your own drivers, should you have them.

  • Driver rates vary based on the location, delivery partner, and order distance. Contact us for specific rates in your area.

  • All tips are passed on to the driver and billed back to the restaurant on a regular (normally weekly) basis.

  • On average, 8 miles. This may differ depending on the delivery partner.

Self-delivery

  • Yes. If your restaurant has its own drivers for delivery, Inhousedelivery.com can route orders directly to them. Drivers will receive the orders on our custom built Inhousedelivery.com mobile app, which will supply them with everything they need to successfully deliver the order.

  • Yes, you are able to assign an order to an individual driver.

  • Yes. You can choose to define either a radius from your restaurant or specify the area where your drivers can deliver. Any deliveries received that fall outside of the defined area will be dispatched to a third-party partner.

Billing and support

  • Inhousedelivery.com charges a flat fee for each delivery made.

For third-party deliveries, we collect both the flat fee for the delivery driver and the driver tip. These fees are directly passed onto the third-party provider. Inhousedelivery.com adds a nominal amount on top of this as a service fee. (This amount differs per region).

For orders delivered by a restaurant's own employees, only the Inhousedelivery.com fee is charged for each order. No additional fees are incurred or collected.

  • We support both credit card payment and bank transfers.

Typically, billing occurs weekly using the payment method chosen.

  • No. You are only charged for orders that are actually dispatched for deliveries. There is no charge for orders which are simply received into your Inhousedelivery.com account.

  • No. There are no contracts or obligations. You simply pay for the deliveries made using the Inhousedelivery.com solution.

  • Our support team is available 24/7 for any order issues. They are also able to lodge refund requests if delivery problems arise. This is a key point of difference with our competitors, where restaurants are required to lodge and manage their own refunds.
